Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Zabi SL. By creating an account or using Zabi SL as a guest, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Zabi SL is an end-to-end encrypted messaging application currently in beta. Features, availability, and performance may change without notice while the app is in this stage.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Zabi SL.

3. Accounts

You can use Zabi SL with a registered account (username and password) or as a guest (no password required). You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Guest accounts are ephemeral by design — see the Privacy Policy for details on how long guest data is retained.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Zabi SL to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Send illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Attempt to circumvent a block placed against you by another user.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or send messages at scale (spam).

5. Blocking and Reporting

You can block users you don't want contact from, and report accounts that violate these Terms. Because messages are end-to-end encrypted, we generally cannot review message content directly — enforcement relies on user reports. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

6. Notifications and Invites

Zabi SL may ask permission to send you browser notifications about new messages. This is entirely optional — you can decline, or turn it off at any time in your browser's site settings, without affecting your ability to use the rest of the service.

The Invite Friends feature generates a plain link to Zabi SL for you to share however you like. We're not responsible for where you share it or who you share it with.

7. Your Content

You're solely responsible for the messages you send. Zabi SL does not review or moderate message content before it's delivered, since we don't have the technical ability to read it.

8. No Warranty

Zabi SL is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. As a beta product, occasional bugs, downtime, or data loss are possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zabi SL and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

You may stop using Zabi SL, or delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service, for any account, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use of Zabi SL after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed].
